INDY MOTOR SPEEDWAY
RADIO CONTROLLED AUTO RACING!
at the Marion County Fairgrounds
This is John's stock slash with the body removed. Just a few modifications make it oval race ready!Shock travel can be limited by installing tie-ties that keep the travel low, or you can install fuel tubing inside the shock body over the rod so that travel is limited. 100W oil recommended. Here's a quick drawing to show you how to install fuel tubing inside your shock. You will have to drain and refill your oil of course and adjust the fuel tubing length to get the right length needed.About 4 ounces of lead weight are added to the driver's side to help keep the truck from flipping on turns. Note that sharp edges are kept away from the R/CAR carpet!Minimum clearance is 1/2". Racers at R/CAR will give you lots of other pointers and formal rules are being developed. If its not stock, better ask Kevin in the meantime if you can do it!
